Simon Pengelly founded his own studio in London in 1993, and just a few years later, he had his first success with a collection of furnishings. He won the Compasso d’Oro, one of the most sought-after acknowledgements by designers all over the world, in 2011.

His partnerships with some of the leading brands on a European scale have led him to work on multiple projects in product design, transportation and interior design. For Foscarini, he has designed Innerlight, a wall-mounted light sculpture suitable for both domestic settings and collective scenarios.
