Baxter
Pierce High Cabinet
Pierce, an exclusive creation by design duo Draga & Aurel for Baxter, is a refined storage unit that masterfully embodies the artistic dialogue between aesthetic tension and functional harmony. Inspired by the timeless allure of the 1970s and the sculptural works of Agostino Bonalumi, this innovative sideboard replaces traditional wooden sides with modern steel surfaces. Its distinctive leather doors are enriched with naturally formed folds, elegantly gathered by a signature metal ring—a contemporary reference to body piercings. The gloss lacquered structure and matte lacquered interiors, enhanced with functional extra-clear glass shelves, define a sophisticated and bold aesthetic—perfect for exclusive living and dining spaces. Equipped with adjustable feet and customisable metal finishes, Pierce can be tailored to suit any refined, contemporary interior.

Baxter
Launched in Italy on January 1990, Baxter is the combination of experience and passion, a sense for business, a desire not to follow the rules, and the spirit and feeling evoked by the Made in Italy philosophy. Describing Baxter as “the story of encounters, ideas, but above all of people”, founders Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti began their journey towards the contemporary by pursuing "the freest expressiveness”.
Draga & Aurel
Draga & Aurel was founded in Como in 2007 by Draga Obradovic, born in Čačak, Serbia, who studied painting and worked as a textile designer, and Aurel K. Basedow, born in Munich, who trained in woodworking before studying painting at Brera. They began as pioneers of upcycling, reinventing vintage furniture and objects.
A showing at the 2009 Salone del Mobile introduced them internationally, and they have worked with Gallotti&Radice, Visionnaire, Poltrona Frau and Giorgetti. For Baxter they designed the Brigitte sofa, the Dune bookcase inspired by 1970s pop art and the Tile collection.
