Baxter
Aura Slim Bed
A refined creation by Hannes Peer for Baxter, Aura Slim is a bed with a sleek, sophisticated profile that transforms the modern bedroom into a true sanctuary of elegance. A minimalist evolution of the iconic Aura model, it retains its sculptural soul while adopting a lighter, more slender silhouette—perfect for harmonising with contemporary spaces. Its distinctive base in folded aluminium—crafted using advanced folding techniques and available in exclusive chromed or lacquered finishes—offers a surprising floating effect, visually light and seemingly defying gravity. The robust inner frame ensures lasting durability, while the contoured padding embraces the body, guiding it towards deep, regenerative rest. The bed frame, wrapped in Baxter’s signature ultra-soft leather, adds a tactile dimension that gently envelops the structure, enhancing a refined design that elevates any bedroom into a place of quiet prestige.

Baxter
Launched in Italy on January 1990, Baxter is the combination of experience and passion, a sense for business, a desire not to follow the rules, and the spirit and feeling evoked by the Made in Italy philosophy. Describing Baxter as “the story of encounters, ideas, but above all of people”, founders Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti began their journey towards the contemporary by pursuing "the freest expressiveness”.
Hannes Peer
Hannes Peer was born in Bolzano, South Tyrol, in 1976, the son of the artist Ursula Huber. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and the TU Berlin, then worked for Rem Koolhaas’s OMA in Rotterdam and Zvi Hecker in Berlin before founding Hannes Peer Architecture in Milan in 2009.
The studio is regularly recognised on the AD100 and the Elle Decor A-List, and its projects include the Water Mirror at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome. Peer joined Baxter in 2024 with the Aura sofa and bed and the Pillow armchair.
