Loai Armchair
Loai is the first product by architect Stefano Belingardi Clusoni for Poliform, an armchair born from the dialogue between architecture and design. The exposed frame echoes the classic compass shape, while the backrest is enveloping. A small armchair made for low dining, Loai highlights the contrast between its compact size and extra-large seat, firm structure and soft cushioning, modernism and contemporaneity.

Stefano Belingardi Clusoni
Stefano Belingardi Clusoni was born in Milan in 1987. He graduated cum laude from Mario Botta’s Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, Switzerland, where his master project was judged the best by the SIA Architecture & Culture jury. He worked at EMBT Miralles Tagliabue in Barcelona (2007) and at Cino Zucchi Architetti in Milan (2009), completed his bachelor’s degree on an Erasmus programme at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow (2010), worked at Daniel Libeskind’s studio on the CityLife project in Milan (2011) and spent a year in Shanghai with EMBT (2012).
In 2013, while living in Berlin, he won an international competition and founded his own practice, be.st belingardi stefano architect, which today follows international-scale projects in Italy and abroad. He is involved in the Reinventing Cities master plan project in Milan and in 2020 was selected among the best architects under 40 in Italy by Platform magazine.
