unPIZZO

unPIZZO is a design studio with a small artisan workshop specialising in interlacing for furnishings, founded in 2014 by Agnese Selva and Bettina Colombo. Starting from the shape and use of traditional Brianza lace, the studio revisits historic interlacing in a modern key, and after its debut at the Salone del Mobile in 2016 went on to important collaborations.

For B&B Italia Outdoor they designed the Tramae Ottoman, a hexagon rounded until its edges disappear, its exclusive weave reinterpreting the tradition of wicker basket making in a contemporary key.
