Sergio Bicego

Born in the province of Vicenza in 1953, Sergio Bicego left his classical studies and came, almost by chance, to the upholstered furniture sector. He opened his studio as an independent designer in 1991 and has worked with various companies in the industry since 1993. His designs look for less formal solutions, with systems that let simple gestures transform and play with shapes.

For Gebrüder Thonet Vienna he designed Mon-île in 2024, a sofa, armchair and coffee table that build an intimate, communicative archipelago for conversation at home.
