Serena Confalonieri

Milan-based designer and art director Serena Confalonieri works across product, interior, graphic and textile design. Her distinctive style is graphic, colourful and emotional, with decorative hyperboles, geometric shapes and anthropomorphic and zoomorphic inspirations that give design an ironic twist. She made her debut at Milan Design Week in 2013, and her work has been shown at the Triennale di Milano and the Galleria Rossana Orlandi.

Arcadia, her first collaboration with Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, is a playful round ottoman whose curved wooden arches recall one of the company’s classic styles.
