Sam Baron
Born in France in 1976, Sam Baron studied design at the École des Beaux Arts in Saint Étienne and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. For ten years he was design director at Fabrica, Benetton’s communication research centre, and in 2010 Philippe Starck named him one of the ten most important designers of the coming decade. He lives and works between Portugal and France.
His Issima! candle holders for Bosa trace landscapes in tenuous colours, bringing ancient and contemporary forms to the table in glossy cashmere and glossy greyhound.
