Pedro Paulo-Venzon
Brazilian designer Pedro Paulo-Venzon creates objects and artefacts that arise from a decolonial reading of contemporary and modern design in Brazil, seeking syntheses between the authorial and the industrial, the local and the global, tradition and its displacements. Since finishing his studies in 2011 he has won prizes in Brazil and abroad, and in 2016 was a finalist for Wallpaper magazine’s Officine Panerai Next Generation Designer award.
For Viccarbe he designed the Bamba low table, whose circle and two rods evoke his “slashed O” emblem, and the Giro side table in steel and matt oak.
