Paul Loebach
Paul Loebach was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, amid the industrial landscape of the American Midwest. He descends from a long line of German woodworkers, and his father is a manufacturing engineer who developed new plastic forming technologies in the 1970s. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2002 he set up his studio in New York, specialising in wood furniture and emerging manufacturing technologies.
For Roll & Hill he designed Halo, a series of energy-efficient LED pendants and sconces distinguished by cascading rings and bars of light.
