Nathan Yong

Nathan Yong graduated in industrial design from Temasek Polytechnic in 1991 and began as a buyer and product developer, sourcing makers across Asia. He opened his store Air Division in 1999, later took a master’s degree at the University of New South Wales, won the Red Dot Concept Design Award in 2006 and 2007, and in 2008 was named Designer of the Year at Singapore’s President’s Design Award.

For Living Divani he designed the Off Cut bookcase, assembled from interlocking laths of solid wood made from the off-cuts of other furniture.
