Nathalie du Pasquier

Nathalie Du Pasquier was born in Bordeaux in 1957 and has lived in Milan since 1979, where she was a founding member of the Memphis group, her designs for textiles, carpets, furniture and laminates helping to shape its distinctive style. Since 1987 painting has been her main focus, with exhibitions at PACE Gallery, the Camden Arts Centre in London and the Kunsthalle Wien.

Her F series of sculptures for Bitossi stacks two or three hand-turned elements of white clay, glazed in contrasting glossy and matt colours in a study closely connected to her painting.
