Manolo Bossi

Manolo Bossi likes to say he is the son of an iron and glass craftsman. A self-taught designer, after a short industrial design course at the Domus Academy in Milan he began designing ceramics for Bosa at 28, and has since worked for Flos and Skitsch among others. He loves pure forms, white and black, and subtraction as a method, and lives and works in Verona.

For Bosa he created the Owl in Satin White and Pink Gold Wings, a creature with large front facing eyes like ours that many civilisations see as a symbol of wisdom, intelligence and beauty.
