Lindsey Adelman

Lindsey Adelman, a native New Yorker, has specialised in lighting since 1996. She studied industrial design at the Rhode Island School of Design and founded her studio in 2006, now also in Los Angeles. Her collections develop industrial modular systems to capture the fleeting beauty of nature, and her work has been shown at the Cooper Hewitt, Design Miami and Nilufar Gallery.

For Roll & Hill she designed Agnes, a modular chandelier first conceived as a candelabra, its glowing glass tubes set on articulated joints, and Astral Agnes, which reconfigures the units into radial, symmetrical forms.
