Jorge Pensi

Jorge Pensi set up his design studio in Barcelona’s Gothic quarter in 1984, specialising in furniture and lighting design and the staging of events. Its minimalist, expressive designs have won numerous awards, and early pieces such as the Toledo chair and the Regina lamp have become icons of Spanish design. In 1997 he received Spain’s National Design Prize.

For Viccarbe he designed Shape, a modern, simple and multifunctional side table that mixes minimalism and geometry.
