Jessica Helgerson

Jessica Helgerson grew up between Southern California and France, with a French mother and an American father, school years in Santa Barbara and summers in France. After briefly working at an architecture firm she opened her design studio in 2000; it has since grown well beyond her, with a branch in Paris, and she remains at the heart of its design direction.

For Roll & Hill she designed Del Playa, turned wood stems and ceramic shades that recall the beaches of Santa Barbara, and Rue Sala, turned metal and hand blown glass inspired by her family’s ancestral home in Lyon.
