Front

Front is the Swedish design studio of Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren, founded in Stockholm in 2003. Their objects often tell a story about the design process, the material or the conventions of design, sometimes handing part of the process to animals, computers or machines, and their work is held by MoMA, the V&A, M+, the Nationalmuseum, the Vitra Design Museum and the Centre Pompidou.

Their pieces include the Pig Table, Chess Table and Serpentine and Starfall lights for Moooi, the Scribble rugs for Moooi Carpets, the Hideout armchair for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna and the Front Page rack for Kartell.
