Florent Coirier

Born in Nantes in 1983, Florent Coirier lives and works in Paris. He studied design at ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres and at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, graduating with distinction in 2005, worked with agencies including the studio of Christophe Pillet, and now runs his own studio near Montmartre, creating simple, functional products with a strong meaning.

His Croisette Chair for Serralunga, with or without arms, reinterprets classic wooden outdoor chairs with slats in durable yet lightweight technopolymer or recycled material.
