Emma Larsson

Emma Larsson, born in Gothenburg in 1977, is a Stockholm-based artist and illustrator, largely self-taught and known on Instagram as @zebrakadebra. Her intuitive watercolours, oils and acrylics balance colourful dreamscape and melancholy, drawing on the shapes, colours and patterns she finds in the forests around Stockholm, and she has worked with brands including H&M, COS and Winsor & Newton.

For Moooi Carpets she created In The Meadow, watercolour rugs including Bumblebee, Butterfly, Embryo and Wasp that bring nature indoors like ink in water; her Wasp also lives on in Mixing Pixels of Wasp.
