David Weeks

David Weeks founded David Weeks Studio in Brooklyn in 1996. A multidisciplinary designer renowned for his sculptural lighting, he works in a minimalist visual language that holds an open-ended dialogue between material and form, the result of a hands-on, sculptural process of formal reduction that marries an artist’s sensibility with technical precision. For Roll & Hill he designed the Boden chandeliers and table lamp: sculptural fixtures built on irregular balance points, with rotating shades that house a dimmable LED source and cast light directionally.
