Aristo Chair
The Aristo range of chairs by designer Sebastian Herkner combines premium comfort with precise design. The name ‘áristos’ (ἄριστος), ancient Greek for ‘the most excellent’ or ‘the noblest’, alludes to the classic elegance of the design and the premium craftsmanship. The chair’s most outstanding feature is the backrest with upholstery on both sides framed by elegantly curved seamless tubular steel. Equally distinctive is the double upholstered seat with a striking shadow gap between the upholstered base and the voluminous seat cushion with spring core. The layered upholstery offers inviting comfort, perfect for relaxed evenings with friends and family.
Through the use of tubular steel, this contemporary chair draws on iconic designs from the ClassiCon portfolio. With a choice of chrome-plated or matt black powder-coated finishes, Aristo showcases a modern yet timeless aesthetic, striking a perfect balance between style and functionality.

ClassiCon
ClassiCon offer modern classics that are collector’s items—not only the masterpieces of yesterday, but of tomorrow as well. ClassiCon’s collection aims to produce individual pieces of great originality and formal perfection. Displaying the kind of value that lasts, ClassiCon collection pieces are destined to become coveted investments for future generations. ClassiCon has from its inception aspired not only to offer pieces by established figures such as Eileen Gray and Eckart Muthesius, but also to foster contemporary design and to present selected examples in its program. Naturally, the models chosen must display the kind of quality and advanced form that earns them the designation “classic”. That’s why ClassiCon is always open to new design ideas.
Sebastian Herkner

His Bell Table for ClassiCon, from 2012, set a metal top on a hand-blown glass base and began his international recognition, joined by the Plissee Floor Lamp, whose pleated shade is in fact hand-blown glass.
