Benjamin Hubert

Benjamin Hubert was born in the United Kingdom in 1984 and studied industrial design and technology at Loughborough University. He is the founder and creative director of Layer, a London creative agency that approaches design with a holistic mindset, working with international companies on furniture, lighting, objects and installations, from mass production to limited editions.

His Seams pieces for Bitossi pair smooth surfaces in contrasting semi-matt glazes with raised graphic lines that emerge during production, as on the Seams Vase and Seams Bowl.
