Andres Reisinger & Julia Esque

Artist and designer Andrés Reisinger, born in Buenos Aires in 1990, bridges the imagined and the tangible with immersive 3D visuals, otherworldly compositions and experimental textures. Júlia Esqué, born in Barcelona in 1986, is a product designer focused on textile design, whose projects grow from research and hands-on making; she also teaches and runs workshops at several design schools.

Together they turned Reisinger’s digital Hortensia into the Hortensia Armchair for Moooi, a petal-covered form that replicates the beauty of nature and answers the basic human need for warmth and comfort.
