Tube Light Floor Lamp
Reduced to a minimum, Eileen Gray’s Tube Light is radically modern and discretely integrates with any environment. The base, slender steel bar and light tube merge into a unity of simple aesthetics: a linear lamp that provides the light with a wide scatter due to the relatively large surface, emitting it softly and evenly into the environment. The new dimming function now enables the adjustment of the light intensity. Tube Light was added to numerous design museum collections around the world as a design classic. The black version of the floor lamp, newly added in 2022, blends harmoniously with the Eileen Gray collection.

ClassiCon
ClassiCon offer modern classics that are collector’s items—not only the masterpieces of yesterday, but of tomorrow as well. ClassiCon’s collection aims to produce individual pieces of great originality and formal perfection. Displaying the kind of value that lasts, ClassiCon collection pieces are destined to become coveted investments for future generations. ClassiCon has from its inception aspired not only to offer pieces by established figures such as Eileen Gray and Eckart Muthesius, but also to foster contemporary design and to present selected examples in its program. Naturally, the models chosen must display the kind of quality and advanced form that earns them the designation “classic”. That’s why ClassiCon is always open to new design ideas.
Eileen Gray
From an aristocratic Irish-Scottish family, Eileen Gray studied architecture and design in London and Paris and first made her name with lacquered walls and decorative panels. Her theories on design and architecture left an indelible mark on modernism, her tubular steel furniture, revolutionary in its day, is now classic, and her house E1027 on the Côte d’Azur reopened to the public in 2015.
ClassiCon produces her designs under licence, among them the height-adjustable Adjustable Table E1027, in MoMA’s permanent collection since 1978, the Bibendum Armchair and the Day Bed.
