Sol Side Table Miniature
The Sol Side Table by the Spanish design duo OrtegaGuijarro in miniature: the 1:5 scale version also showcases the design’s impressive wealth of facets. As strikingly simple as the construction made of glass panels of different sizes may be, at second glance it is quite complex. Depending on the perspective, the incidence of light and shadows, the coloured-transparent elements of the table merge into ever-changing silhouettes and visually trick their observers. Each miniature is produced true to scale with the same perfection as the original. An elegant sculpture in a tiny format - the perfect gift for people with an affinity towards design.

ClassiCon
ClassiCon offer modern classics that are collector’s items—not only the masterpieces of yesterday, but of tomorrow as well. ClassiCon’s collection aims to produce individual pieces of great originality and formal perfection. Displaying the kind of value that lasts, ClassiCon collection pieces are destined to become coveted investments for future generations. ClassiCon has from its inception aspired not only to offer pieces by established figures such as Eileen Gray and Eckart Muthesius, but also to foster contemporary design and to present selected examples in its program. Naturally, the models chosen must display the kind of quality and advanced form that earns them the designation “classic”. That’s why ClassiCon is always open to new design ideas.
OrtegaGuijarro
Carlos Guijarro and Alex Ortega founded the design studio OrtegaGuijarro in Barcelona in 2017. With backgrounds in industrial and interior design, they set out to create individual and surprising solutions for everyday life, searching for the ideal meeting point of curiosity, experimentation and technical innovation, across disciplines that take in art, fashion and technology.
Their trademark is a clear yet poetic aesthetic. For ClassiCon they designed the Sol Side Table, built from glass panels of different sizes and winner of a Stylepark Selected Award, and its 1:5 scale Sol Side Table Miniature.
