Gabriel Tan

Gabriel Tan was born in Singapore in 1982 and, after serving in the Singapore Navy, graduated in industrial design from the National University of Singapore in 2007. A co-founder of the design collective Outofstock in 2006, he set up Gabriel Tan Studio and Studio Antimatter in 2016, co-founded Origin Made in 2018 and is creative director of Ariake. He works between Singapore and Porto, where he opened a European studio in 2020.

For B&B Italia he designed the Quiet Lines collection in 2023: a writing desk, bench, bedside table and screen of curved and straight lines, with leather-upholstered surfaces.
