Baxter
Lloyd Bookcase
The scenic Lloyd open bookcase is the result of a compositional idea that enhances the modular and customisable aspect of the piece, creating a new ideal that reflects the sophistication of Baxter designs. Its structure, crafted in brushed oak and available in the sophisticated tones of Liquorice or Tobacco, adapts with elegance to various configurations: it can rest discreetly against the wall or rise from floor to ceiling as a dividing element, creating a permeable partition that filters both light and gaze. The shelves, available in a variety of natural stones and solid woods, embrace the tubular elements of the bookcase with organic shapes, and can be freely adjusted along metal pegs. Complementing the main structure are elegant curved storage units, upholstered in leather, designed to fit seamlessly within the shelving grid. Available in a range of shades, these storage elements offer concealed compartments while blending harmoniously with the overall geometry—enriching the composition with refined detailing. The possibility to compose the open bookcase entirely freely allows for complete personalisation of the open volumes, creating a functional and impactful framework—an architectural statement with a strong visual presence. Lloyd invites creativity, offering the freedom to compose unique configurations where functionality merges with aesthetic expression. A three-dimensional grid that not only organises space but becomes a true protagonist of the interior—transforming storage into a visually and emotionally impactful experience.

Baxter
Launched in Italy on January 1990, Baxter is the combination of experience and passion, a sense for business, a desire not to follow the rules, and the spirit and feeling evoked by the Made in Italy philosophy. Describing Baxter as “the story of encounters, ideas, but above all of people”, founders Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti began their journey towards the contemporary by pursuing "the freest expressiveness”.
