Eden Taman Duta in Kuala Lumpur is Space Atelier's latest design collaboration
Located just beyond the urban centre of Kuala Lumpur, the hilltop vantage point on a rare freehold site of more than 12-acres offers both connection to nature and the city. Eden Taman Duta is Space Atelier's latest project with BRDB Developments, a collaboration as Yasmin Khan, Deputy CEO, BRDB, remarks in our recent interview, that's far more than a design service. 'We believe that every home tells a story and Space complements that perfectly. Space Atelier is far more than a design service; this is a partnership full of intention and personalisation.'
Kirribilli Apartment by Mim Design is tailored perfection
From subterranean bunker to light filled jewel box, Kirribilli Apartment by Mim Design is tailored perfection where tongue-in-cheek playfulness, Art Deco roots and a new layer of craft are found in the tactility of the Biscuit wooden floors by Patricia Urquiola for Listone Giordano, the polished plaster, cross reeded glass and luminous natural stone, each finely detailed element holding purpose and meaning.
A Sydney home that collects colour
There are homes that have been decorated, and then there are homes that have been authentically inhabited. These are the spaces where every object carries a story and colour isn't a decision but a designed disposition. This terrace house in Sydney's inner-west belongs wholeheartedly to the second category.
Space Atelier's new interiors for Palma by Graya
Space Atelier’s collaboration on Graya’s newest project, Palma, says everything about the close relationships they have developed. ’We're very happy with how Palma has come together,’ adds Gray, 'we love specifying the Space collection in our projects because it's beautiful and the market loves it, and it makes such a difference when you furnish properties well.’
A home curated through collaborative vision
Visiting the East Terrace House in central Adelaide and the close collaboration between architects Gina and Tony Lippis of Architects Ink, interior decorator and stylist Simone Haag, and the commercial team at Space, Est. magazine uncovered a shared appreciation for refined design and meaningful detail that honours early 19th-century heritage while embracing contemporary, lived-in elegance.
A home of vibrance and nuance by Sally Caroline
On a corner block in Melbourne’s coastal enclave of Middle Park, the Panorama House by designer Sally Caroline captures sweeping bay and city views while embracing the personality of its young family inhabitants.
Contemporary nuance and cleverly honed details define Mansard by Carr
It’s a joy when a new building stops you in your tracks because of its crafted and interesting details. For the new Mansard apartment building designed by awarded Melbourne architecture studio Carr, that includes the sculpted brick façade that settles the building into the streetscape, its lush gardens and landscape of endemic trees, and the generous, flowing interiors that involved the team at Space Atelier.
Reflections on design: River House
Reflections on design: Rose Bay Duet
Named in reference to the Sydney Opera House, Rose Bay Duet is similarly settled on the eastern side of the city. Comprised of two modern homes, the project pays homage to the idea of lyrical, architectural narrative – in particular, the project celebrates the operatic relationship between the two modern homes, the sloping site, the Opera House and the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.
A Night at the Opera
In an enviable position nestled between The Royal Botanic Garden and the meandering foreshore of Sydney historic Macquarie Street, this grand residence on Sydney Harbour does justice to its location and outlook. Recently featured on Belle Magazine, with an exclusive interview with David Hartikainen, our Head of Interiors & Atelier Design Service, we gained an intimate glimpse into the creative process behind the scenes.
Toorak House
The owners of this grand house in the Melbourne suburb of Toorak, filled the rooms with antique furniture. But they were ready for a change of direction, engaging Larritt-Evans to simplify the spaces and bring in a strong contemporary feel. This house now features pristine white walls, steel and glass windows that increase the natural light and, importantly, new streamlined furniture throughout. Pivotal to the new furniture is the SP01 Yee Storage, which is recognised for its exquisitely detailed furniture and unique storage solutions.
Visiting One Barangaroo with Babak Moini
Up high in the One Barangaroo tower we meet Babak Moini, whose collaboration with Space began with an open brief and full 'artistic freedom'. The project would dig deep into the collection, drawing out dynamic pieces that create a layered and personal collection that's fun and adventurous and the perfect foil to the dramatic panoram

Architect Roberto Palomba makes you feel at home
Roberto Palomba’s relationship with Kartell began on an escalator in Moscow, where a chance encounter with Claudio Luti was the starting point for their lasting creative relationship. That partnership is underpinned by quality, material research and evolution, and each product shaped by the philosophy of design for life.
