Baxter
Aura Sofa
From the creative vision of Hannes Peer comes Aura, a modular leather sofa that transforms the living space with its unmistakable essential elegance, evoking the luminous, refined charm of Californian architecture. Its suspended base, refined and multifunctional, supports generous cushions with fluid elegance—offering a seating experience defined by uncompromising comfort. Aura invites personalisation through ever-changing configurations, adapting effortlessly to different needs—whether intimate or convivial. A perfect balance between a bold, steel-accented structure and the sinuous lines of its modular components makes Aura a design piece that stands out without overwhelming the space. It becomes an island of comfort, redefining the very notion of contemporary relaxation.

Baxter
Launched in Italy on January 1990, Baxter is the combination of experience and passion, a sense for business, a desire not to follow the rules, and the spirit and feeling evoked by the Made in Italy philosophy. Describing Baxter as “the story of encounters, ideas, but above all of people”, founders Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti began their journey towards the contemporary by pursuing "the freest expressiveness”.
Hannes Peer
Hannes Peer was born in Bolzano, South Tyrol, in 1976, the son of the artist Ursula Huber. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and the TU Berlin, then worked for Rem Koolhaas’s OMA in Rotterdam and Zvi Hecker in Berlin before founding Hannes Peer Architecture in Milan in 2009.
The studio is regularly recognised on the AD100 and the Elle Decor A-List, and its projects include the Water Mirror at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome. Peer joined Baxter in 2024 with the Aura sofa and bed and the Pillow armchair.
