Seat upholstery: Shaped polyurethane with differentiated density / polyester slip cover and viscoelastic Memory foam strands.
Backrest upholstery: Shaped polyurethane with differentiated density and feather / down proof fabric and polyester slip cover.
Feet: Black lacquered metal and black protective nylon glides.
Cover: Fabric or leather. Fully removable cover, except for leather version. Sofa composed by separate units.

Arflex

In 1947, a group of technicians based in Pirelli in Italy began experimenting with new materials and technologies in the creation of cutting-edge, modern furniture. This was the beginning of the Arflex brand, established on the meeting of technology and aesthetic sensibilities, and driven by a high level of research and experimentation. Officially presented to the public in 1951, Arflex quickly gained recognition for their manufacturing philosophy.

Tito Agnoli

Tito Agnoli (1931-2012) was born to an Italian family in Lima, Peru, and came to Italy after the war. He trained as a painter under Mario Sironi, graduated in architecture in 1959 and worked as an assistant to Gio Ponti and Carlo De Carli, while already designing furniture from the early 1950s.

Several times selected for the Compasso d’Oro, he won a gold medal at NeoCon in Chicago in 1986, and his work is in the collection of MoMA in New York. For Arflex he designed the 9000 sofa of 1969 and the Deca sofa.
