The comfort of an embrace: the K-WAITING upholstered collection by Rodolfo Dordoni plays with the contrast between the formal simplicity of rigorous volumes and soft, rounded lines. The division between habitat and contract solutions is increasingly blurred in this collection too.

Rodolfo Dordoni

Rodolfo Dordoni graduated in architecture at the Milan Polytechnic in 1979. Since then, he has designed for most of the leading names in the furniture and lighting sectors. For many companies he has headed up the design department, responsible for setting out and co-ordinating the strategy of the product. His design work includes residential projects, villas, industrial buildings, shops, showrooms, offices, restaurants, hotels, as well as exhibition stands and furniture. He works closely with Poliform and Driade, and in 2005, alongside his industrial design activity, he founded together with Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni the Dordoni Architects Studio, which is dedicated specifically to architectural planning and interior design.
