The simple and unexpected compositions of the Folds attract my attention. I isolate and magnify a fold to create a unique and stunning new shape. By applying the ‘trompe l’oeil’ technique, they appear almost three dimensional but this is an optical illusion.

Known for thinking outside the box, Moooi have taken things a step further with their latest project, Moooi Carpets. Moooi has always been about bringing additional beauty to people's lives by decorating homes, offices, hotel rooms and restaurants with iconic and innovative pieces of furniture and lighting. Their latest venture, Moooi Carpets, is set to be no different with the brand turning their successful rug range into a fully fledged flooring business. The Moooi Carpet collection is rich and refined, boasting an extensive range of unique, iconic and breathtaking designs. As well as collaborating with big name designers (the likes of Front, Bertjan Pot, Marcel Wanders and Studio Job have all presented designs as part of the brand's first collection), possibly the most exciting part of Moooi Carpets is the ability for anyone to design a rug and have it manufactured, regardless of size, scale or specification.
