studioutte

studioutte is a Milan-based multidisciplinary practice for interior architecture, interior decoration and collectible design, established in 2020 by Guglielmo Giagnotti and Patrizio Gola. Its name comes from the German hütte, a hut or shelter, a reference to the vernacular architecture and the simple, timeless forms that inform the studio’s work. Giagnotti, originally from Bari, trained as an architect and worked in Belgium, including with Vincent Van Duysen, before meeting Gola, an interior designer from Sondrio with hospitality projects between Paris and Dubai, at Dimorestudio in Milan.

The studio favours clarity and purity over repetition and excess, distilling its ideas into essential, poetic forms and spaces; its furniture is handcrafted with Italian artisans in solid wood, raw metal and lacquer. studioutte was included in the AD100 list in 2024 and has presented installations at Milan Design Week since 2024. For Poliform it has designed a series of lamps, including the Helga, Arthur, Hugo, Klara and Lies lights, and the Multitude installation at Palazzo Clerici for the 2026 collection.
