K.P.D.O.

K.P.D.O. is an integrated design studio based in Melbourne and Sydney, led by Kerry Phelan and Stephen Javens. Their work is influenced by art, cinema and fashion and by the masters of modern architecture and design, with Shiro Kuramata and Michele De Lucchi as particular inspirations.

Long-time users of Listone Giordano’s Medoc flooring, they pitched the idea of a richly complex floor made from just two elements. Developed with Listone Giordano, it became Butterfly.
