Cini Boeri

Born 1924 Milano, Cini Boeri studied architecture at the Milan Politecnico in 1951 and worked as an interior designer in the studio of Marco Zanuso until 1963.

In 1979, she had her own design firm in Milan where she worked on the standardisation of elements in order to make furniture less expensive.

She then collaborated, among others, with brands including Knoll, Arflex, Arteluce and Stilnovo. And created products that were so impressive she received Compasso d'Oro awards in both 1970 and 1979.

Over the years Cini Boeri has been awarded many prizes, that demonstrate her diversity as a designer. The many different examples of her achievements can be found in museums and international exhibitions. She also taught architecture all over the world in Europe, South and North America.
