Bianco

The pot is inspired by the iconic shape of a traditional flower vase and exaggerates it in an oversized dimension, which makes it unique and extremely striking, making it capable of enhancing any garden design, also by means of matching with outdoor patio furniture. The large planter has been manufactured with rotational moulding and is available in various colours, as well as three new colours chosen together with the designer specifically for this pot. Serralunga Cone is an elegant member of the Serralunga pots section. Naoto Fukasawa is the father of Serralunga Cone.

Dimensions

Diameter: 130 cm
Height: 90 cm

Materials

LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) achieved by rotational moulding. UV protection. 100% recyclable, solution dyed. High degree of mechanical strenght and resistance to impacts.

Hand finishing for lacquered products: surface preparation, application of base coat, lacquering with oven-fixed liquid acrylic or polyurethane paint, polishing.

Naoto Fukasawa

Born in 1956 in the Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan, Fukasawa graduated in 1980 in product design at the Tama Art University. He moved to America to work with Ideo in San Francisco for 8 years, and returned home as Director of Ideo Japan in 1996. In 2003 Fukasawa established the Naoto Fukasawa Design studio in Tokyo and subsequently opened his own retail outlets for his own design brand Plus Minus Zero that produces what he describes as mundane objects - calculators, fans and umbrellas. As well as his own collection, Fukasawa collaborates with international brands including Italian furniture groups B&B Italia and Driade, and the Japanese 'anti-brand' label Muji. Naoto travels widely to talk and exhibit work, collaborating with Jasper Morrison on the Super Normal exhibition and book in 2006.
