Acerbis
Ludwig Sideboard
Lodovico Acerbis has created an iconic sideboard that perfectly highlights the superiority of the materials and the high-quality finishes that form the very core of Acerbis Design. The surface of the Ludwig is unadorned with handles or embellishments, instead employing the Dual-Flap® patented system to open the entire front panel with a simple touch while the top simultaneously offers easy access to the anterior areas.

Today this mission continues with fresh vigor. With recently appointed creative directors Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces helming a dynamic path forward, Acerbis affirms its family-led lineage of pace-setting vision, and its universe of designs that unite function and the avant-garde.
Lodovico Acerbis
Lodovico Acerbis was born in Albino, near Bergamo, in 1939 and graduated in economics and business in Milan. In 1963 he joined his father’s company, founded in 1870 as a carpentry workshop, to create design furniture with the most advanced technologies and the best materials.
Under his direction Acerbis grew into a leading industrial company, and he combined the roles of industrialist and designer, often working with Giotto Stoppino. His designs include the Sheraton, Parioli, Ludwig and NC sideboards and the Menhir tables.
