Acerbis
Alterego Sideboard
In his latest works for Acerbis, Giacomo Moor imbues the two Alterego vertical sideboards with the mirage of suspension in a marvel of design ingenuity, with their double sliding doors seeming, impossibly, to support the weight, with an invisible transparent structure beneath the cabinet. The contrast of wood and hand-brushed metal underlines the hand-crafted identity of the sideboards.

Acerbis
Today this mission continues with fresh vigor. With recently appointed creative directors Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces helming a dynamic path forward, Acerbis affirms its family-led lineage of pace-setting vision, and its universe of designs that unite function and the avant-garde.
Giacomo Moor
Born in Milan in 1981, Giacomo Moor graduated in design with a dissertation on wood that was published by Abitare, then opened his studio with his partner. With a team of designers and woodworkers he creates products for companies, limited editions for galleries and unique pieces for private clients.
His work unites the rigour of design with the sensitivity of craftsmanship. For Acerbis he designed the Alterego sideboards, the Ghostwriter writing desk and the Outline bookcase.
