TECHNICAL DESIGN EXECUTIVE

With our Bencoolen Street showroom positioned as Space Asia Hub of a gross area of over 40,000 sq ft, Space Furniture is currently seeking a Technical Deign Executive to work within the Project Sales Team in Singapore.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible in providing technical advice for Poliform Kitchen, Poliform Day and Night System to the System Furniture and Project Sales teams pertaining to product knowledge, technical specifications and drawing requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Propose and conceptualise design ideas and space planning based on client or designer’s requirements.
  • Able to develop creative design solutions and recommendations with minimal supervision.
  • Able to effectively prepare 2D drawings, detailed drawings and M&E drawings for design review including tender drawings.
  • Update and check drawings for accuracy as necessary
  • Maintain proper records, updates of drawings and documentation to ensure easy retrieval.
  • Ensure to complete drawings within time stipulated.
  • Produce order drawings and check/verify Order Confirmation upon receiving from supplier.
  • Guiding, advising, and mentoring System Furniture team on developing design directions.
  • Be involved in site survey and measurements to verify details as required.
  • Feedback on work improvements in relation to Sales, Technical Design and Project team.
  • Co-ordinate Customer Service matters pertaining to System Furniture for Project team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Good command of AutoCAD software.
  • Diploma in Interior Design preferred or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of drafting experience.
  • Good command over design techniques and visual elements.
  • Good communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Interpreting related reference documents and drawings prepared by other disciplines, vendors, and outside sources.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Creative thinking with attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and proactive mindset.
  • Able to work under tight schedules and deadlines.
