Artemone Storage Unit

Designed by Antonio Citterio

The Artemone storage unit stems from Antonio Citterio’s desire to update the traditional dresser found in kitchens. It is available in different combinations of hinged doors and drawers, with or without flap down door, and can be fitted with shelves, pull-out trays and cutlery racks.

The die-cast aluminium base has a minimal design and is separated from the upper part by a shadow gap of a few millimetres that makes the structure lighter and blurs the contrast between metal and wood. Artemone’s base is available in an array of finishes to match the upper part which is offered in black, soya or red shellac; light, grey or black oak; rough-cut white oak.

Maxalto

Maxalto

Established in 1975 as an extension of the B&B Italia Company, Maxalto looks to the past reviving classical forms and salvaging a rich elegance. Right from its inception, the distinguishing mark of the Maxalto collection has been the sheer linearity of shapes which has enabled the classic elegance to be revisited with a modern outlook. Chairs and armchairs made of wood or “dressed up”, thick tables made entirely of wood, or matched with the strong personality of steel, exceptionally comfortable sofas and chairs, consoles, writing desk and bookcase are important pieces lending a touch of prestige to the home. With Antonio Citterio as their key designer, Maxalto has been able to bridge sophisticated craft with modern technology.
