At the end of the 60s, the architect Cini Boeri revolutionized the furniture market with her sofa seating system Strips. Its low blocky form was a complete departure from the furniture that came before it and was a pioneer in the use of polyurethane foam and in the concept of sectional seating. Even now after 50 years the design continues to inspire designers like Patricia Urquiola who’s hugely successful Tufty Time sofa is a homage to Boeri’s design. With its softly structured look made up of a series of 31.5cm squares (like a block of chocolate) Strips anchors any room while offering exceptional comfort.

Manufacturer's Warranty


We guarantee that all products sold are free from manufacturing faults and defects for a period of 24 months from the date of original delivery. In the event that a product is proven to be defective, you are entitled to the restoration of the goods through repair or replacement, whichever is decided as being the most efficient and effective remedy.

In 1947, a group of technicians based in Pirelli in Italy began experimenting with new materials and technologies in the creation of cutting-edge, modern furniture. This was the beginning of the Arflex brand, established on the meeting of technology and aesthetic sensibilities, and driven by a high level of research and experimentation. Officially presented to the public in 1951, Arflex quickly gained recognition for their manufacturing philosophy.
