The Designer
Living Divani
Living Divani was founded in 1969 as an armchair and sofa production company. The company is located in Brianza, between Como and Milan, an area recognised for its quality craftsmanship and deep design roots. Living Divani draws on continuous research to refine how each piece is designed and made, keeping their collections considered, precise and unmistakably their own.
Born in Florence, Massimo Mariani studied architecture with Giancarlo De Carlo at the University of Genoa, then worked at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genoa and with Herman Hertzberger in Amsterdam. He later moved to London to work on architecture and urban renewal projects across the United Kingdom.
In 2006 he established his own practice in architecture and industrial design, with work shown from Milan and New York to Shanghai. For Acerbis he designed the Moodboard coffee tables and console.
