The ultimate modular sofa that is both casual and soft with yielding and malleable comfort, while it creates a strong geometric anchor within a room. Designed by the architect Piero Lissoni in 2008, its form was influenced by traditional Middle Eastern seating of the Majlis, a culturally important low-rise cushioned space designed for social gatherings. A contemporary version of this centuries-old tradition, Extrasoft delivers compositions of luxuriously soft low geometric blocks to create an undulating upholstered landscape while taking the sofa in the direction of abstract expressionism. Stripped of all non-essential elements but possessing beautifully subtle details, its cosy and restful seats can be placed next to one another in geometrical configurations with irregular contours. Now designed for the outdoors too, Extrasoft is a modern classic that allows for easy reconfiguration to suit a change of room or event, advancing the great history of Italian sofa design.

We guarantee that all products sold are free from manufacturing faults and defects for a period of 24 months from the date of original delivery. In the event that a product is proven to be defective, you are entitled to the restoration of the goods through repair or replacement, whichever is decided as being the most efficient and effective remedy.

  • Any breakage caused by negligent and/or improper use of the goods
  • Changes caused by normal wear and tear
  • Any damage caused by lack of and/or erroneous maintenance

Living Divani was founded in 1969 as an armchair and sofa production company. The company is located in Brianza, between Como and Milan, an area recognised for its quality craftsmanship and deep design roots.
