Stone Bedside Table with Drawer
Sinuous geometries, rounded forms and soft volumes are the design features of Stone, a bed with a large padded headboard designed by Federico Peri for Baxter. The inspiration is the Japanese Zen garden with its bevelled stones delicately arranged in the sand according to a precise principle of balance and harmony. The Stone bed consists of an extra-large modular headboard which, with its rounded edges, resembles a river stone smoothed by time and water. A solid element that gently contrasts with the softness of the leather upholstery. The modular nature of the headboard also makes it possible to adjust the heights and widths of its components, which can be accessorised with single-leg tables complete with integrated adjustable light. One touch and the magic is revealed: the table lights up!

Baxter
Launched in Italy on January 1990, Baxter is the combination of experience and passion, a sense for business, a desire not to follow the rules, and the spirit and feeling evoked by the Made in Italy philosophy. Describing Baxter as “the story of encounters, ideas, but above all of people”, founders Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti began their journey towards the contemporary by pursuing "the freest expressiveness”.
Federico Peri
Federico Peri was born in Montebelluna, near Treviso, in 1983 and studied interior design at IED Milan. After an artist’s residency in Paris he worked on concept and retail design at Vudafieri Saverino Partners, and he has run his own Milan studio since 2011.
A Maison & Objet Rising Talent in 2018, he has designed for FontanaArte, Gervasoni, Wall&Deco and Brokis. For Baxter he has designed the Blend cabinets, the Weekend valet mirror and the Stone bed, winner of the bedding category at the 2021 Elle Deco International Design Awards.
