Baxter
Libelle Bookcase
Innovation is the hallmark of the modular Libelle bookcase, the most representative piece of the collection created by Pietro Russo and the one to which the designer is most attached. Libelle embodies the Baxter philosophy in its selection and combination of exceptional materials and quest for a disruptive and striking design that instantly catches the eye. Libelle is a refined and exclusive modular bookcase but also a subtle room divider, a light and modular architectural element capable of enlarging the space by acting as a striking partition, with a functional dimension inspired by classic canons. One of the most interesting aspects of the piece is the infinite array of customisations that can be chosen and added to it as desired. From the countless possible compositions, to the finishes of the materials, to the many accessories that define spaces and functions - such as display cabinets, bottle racks, doors and storage units - this original furnishing accessory amazes every time, establishing new rules of style and elegance.

Baxter
Launched in Italy on January 1990, Baxter is the combination of experience and passion, a sense for business, a desire not to follow the rules, and the spirit and feeling evoked by the Made in Italy philosophy. Describing Baxter as “the story of encounters, ideas, but above all of people”, founders Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti began their journey towards the contemporary by pursuing "the freest expressiveness”.
Pietro Russo
Pietro Russo worked in painting, ceramic decoration and set design before turning to design and architecture. In 2002 he moved to Milan, where he collaborated with Lissoni Associati on projects for Alessi, Cappellini, Kartell and Tecno, and in 2010 he founded his own studio, Pietro Russo Design.
His passion for craftsmanship drives him to reinvent traditional production techniques, and since 2015 he has designed for companies including Baxter and Gallotti & Radice. For Acerbis he designed the Élitra cabinets.
