Baxter
Lazybones Lounge Armchair
Lazybones is a sculptural chair designed by Studiopepe with the idea of creating a three-legged seat inspired by monoliths and primitive architecture. Characterised by archetypal forms, the chair plays with the structure’s massive volumes contrasted with the softness and comfort of the padding and leather upholstery. Lazybones is characterised by three oversized, solid and imposing legs that emphasise its archaic solemnity. Its solid design fluidly interacts with the rounded, generous shapes of the backrest, making it ideal for leisure and social occasions.

Baxter
Launched in Italy on January 1990, Baxter is the combination of experience and passion, a sense for business, a desire not to follow the rules, and the spirit and feeling evoked by the Made in Italy philosophy. Describing Baxter as “the story of encounters, ideas, but above all of people”, founders Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti began their journey towards the contemporary by pursuing "the freest expressiveness”.
Studiopepe
Studiopepe was founded in Milan in 2006 by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, both Milan-born graduates of the Politecnico di Milano. They began as stylists and design editors for magazines, and the studio now spans luxury retail, hospitality, residential interiors, product design and creative direction.
Projects include the Okko hotel at the Gare de l’Est in Paris, and the studio made the AD100 list from 2019 to 2024. For Baxter they designed the Lazybones chair, which won an Elle Deco International Design Award in 2020, and the So Far, So Good and So Soft pieces.
