Baxter
Aura Bed
Designed by Hannes Peer for Baxter, Aura is a double bed that redefines the sleep experience by combining the essence of contemporary architecture with exceptional comfort. A sophisticated evolution of the modular Aura sofa, this bed expresses graceful lightness through its floating aluminium frame—available in polished chrome or lacquered finishes that masterfully play with light. The solid internal structure guarantees enduring strength, while the sculpted padding cradles the body in a soft embrace, encouraging a deeply restorative sleep. Wrapped in sensuous, full-grain leather, the bed frame outlines the profile with sculptural elegance—transforming any bedroom into a space of refined beauty. The two generously padded headboards, meticulously shaped, create a harmonious visual flow while offering ideal ergonomic support. Aura becomes a symbol of contemporary luxury, designed for night spaces that aspire to both exclusivity and emotional warmth.

Baxter
Launched in Italy on January 1990, Baxter is the combination of experience and passion, a sense for business, a desire not to follow the rules, and the spirit and feeling evoked by the Made in Italy philosophy. Describing Baxter as “the story of encounters, ideas, but above all of people”, founders Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti began their journey towards the contemporary by pursuing "the freest expressiveness”.
Hannes Peer
Hannes Peer was born in Bolzano, South Tyrol, in 1976, the son of the artist Ursula Huber. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and the TU Berlin, then worked for Rem Koolhaas’s OMA in Rotterdam and Zvi Hecker in Berlin before founding Hannes Peer Architecture in Milan in 2009.
The studio is regularly recognised on the AD100 and the Elle Decor A-List, and its projects include the Water Mirror at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome. Peer joined Baxter in 2024 with the Aura sofa and bed and the Pillow armchair.
