Acerbis
Jot Chair
Celebrating stainless steel in the Bauhaus tradition, the tubular chrome-framed Jot chair takes its swooping, balletic form into the contemporary era with a new version purified of any paint or dye that would hide the essence of its powerful metal and rawhide leather elements. An iconic example of Giotto Stoppino masterful use of cantilevered chair styles and his exploratory method with materials.

Acerbis
Today this mission continues with fresh vigor. With recently appointed creative directors Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces helming a dynamic path forward, Acerbis affirms its family-led lineage of pace-setting vision, and its universe of designs that unite function and the avant-garde.
Giotto Stoppino
Born in Vigevano in 1926, Giotto Stoppino studied architecture in Milan and Venice. From 1953 he worked mainly in architecture, founding with Gregotti and Meneghetti one of the most culturally committed architecture offices, and from 1968 his own studio devoted itself to design.
He was president of ADI from 1982 to 1985, and his work is held by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. For Acerbis he designed the Jot chair and, with Lodovico Acerbis, the Sheraton sideboard and the Menhir tables.
