Singapore - Contract Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • To lead the sales team in achieving and exceeding the annual assigned sales target. This includes sales reports, visits, events for networking and business development.
  • To promote and service the architectural and design community, commercial sectors and the developers to increase awareness of Space’s brand portfolio and expand customers base.
  • To maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by fulfilling clients' briefs and responding to enquiries and quotation requests in a timely manner
  • To work closely with the General Manager of Sales to develop strategies and relevant sales tools to increase the market share for commercial sales in Singapore.
  • To represent Space as a business entity to address and resolve any customer service issues promptly, professionally and work well with other departments to ensure that the business’s goals are achieved and policies adhered to.
  • Be resourceful in keeping up to date with industry news on leads, opportunities and competition.
  • To constantly train the staff on sales techniques and be equipped with the latest product information and industry news.


Requirements

  • Proven track record in leading a sales team and delivering against targets.
  • Proven influencing skills at the senior management level and a people-person to connect at all levels.
  • Possess drive and excellent analytical, interpersonal, management, organizational and operational skills.
  • Strong commercial marketing, general management and financial skills required.
  • Good presentation skills in both verbal and written to the professional audience and proficient in MS Office.
  • Diploma, Degree Holder or its equivalent with good command of spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Pleasant personality with an appreciation of the work ethos required in the high end design and/or furniture industry and a cheer leader to the team to create a positive working culture.
  • Have a passionate interest in the design furniture industry and 5 years relevant commercial industry sales experience with good contacts with A&D clients is preferred.
