With a cult-like following throughout Europe, North America and Australia, Italian furniture brand Edra joins the Space collection in Singapore and now Kuala Lumpur, where Space's newest showroom recently opened its doors.
The Edra story began in the foothills of Tuscany, a breathtakingly beautiful region of Italy steeped in culture, art, history, craftsmanship and industrial production way beyond its size. Since 1948, the Mazzei family has been producing furniture built on tradition, while continuing to explore new technolgies and ideas in collabroation with the world's best designers.
Today, Edra is one of the few remaiing family-run furniture businesses in Italy. Its collection is sophisticated and beautifully made, blending high-end technology with the traditional artisan skills of the region. At the Edra headquarters in Tuscany, new materials are designed and tested to create highly flexible seating systems that function in multiple ways. Comfort is central to every collection, while new thinking around how we relax at home – and more recently the broader role of the home – gives each piece its unique personality.

To mark the brand's launch at Space Furniture in Asia, a new Edra Gallery in the Singapore showroom – inspired by the group's Milanese headquarters 'Spazio Edra' – highlights the qualities of each piece and the atmosphere and warmth of the collection. While in Kuala Lumpur, Edra is now one of the key design brands at Space's newest design showroom.
